What we do

Trying to make sense of the stream of form 4 data can be frustrating and time conusming.

We help you save time and see the bigger picture of where insider money is going into and out of the different sectors.

Here is some of the processing we do to help you save time.

  • Separate trades by insider type and default our views to show data for Officers and Directors.
  • Separate indirect and direct trades and allow you to filter to show direct trades only or a combination of direct and indirect.
  • Separate filings that include derivitive trades and allow filtering them out. Often filings with options have little to do with insider sentiment and more to do with bennifets and incentives.
  • Only process open market or private purchases and sales (type P and S). Other types like grants, gifts, etc. are not in our data.
  • Only process trades where we can calculate a total cost. Any filings that don't have shares or prices reported are excluded.
  • Focus on common stock trades.
  • Multiple transactions in the same filing for the same date are consolidated.
  • Trades are filtered and displayed by transaction date not filing date so late filings don't skew the data.
